:: a christmas pudding recipe ::
A Christmas Pudding … stitched in wool
1. cut your pieces out of precious Diane wool and natural coloured osnaberg.
2. back the osnaberg with some pellon and do some nice wibbly machine quilting - taking care at the edges … there’s not a lot of structural integrity happening here!
3. pin your woollen pieces to the osnaberg, adding embroidery and beads as you go.
4. And after a few wee hours of immensely pleasurable stitching, your pudding is complete!
… truly she is! I just forgot to take a photo of her all ready to “serve” before I wrapped her up and sent her off. Good thing her twin sister is all cut out and waiting :-)

Just lovely!
Can you share where you find your tiny buttons? I have been able to find black, white, pearl, and primary colors at Joann’s but not packs of lovely pinks or other alternate vivid colors. Thanks!

She is gorgeous Lily! How did you make that texture - is it by stippling on the material - I can’t even see the stitch marks ….

As usual, I am in total awe at your creativity! Lady, when of when are we going to start seeing some of your creations in Australian quilt magazines? Your things are absolutely as wonderful as what we see now. I know writing the directions and pattern can be a pain - but we would all be so much in your debt. Please consider submitting your designs, OK?
