Oh the rain. Oh the cold. Oh the gloom. Oh that shut up inside the house feeling … surrounded by wet washing! The solution?

Plenty of yarn, tricksy knitting, and a yummy mostly-pieced quilt top dug out of the back of the cupboard …

Best friends from Brisbane, riotous games of monopoly, and beautifully written novels …

Left over pumpkin soup, cups of spicy hot chocolate, and sweet crackly music …

Hand knitted socks with fleecy slippers, a winter bonfire with toasted marshmallows, and a good bit of rearranging to create cosy new corners…

Guaranteed to warm up the bleakest weekend!
