I love bobbles. Thus, it was inevitable I would end up buying some bobbly wool. Thankfully, Abigail liked it lots, so these pretty coloured bobbles are knitting into a pretty bobble scarf for her.
Two balls down, one to go.
Toph loves the bobbles too. She has been seen hurling herself at the knitting bag so as to knock the yarn out – which she then runs off with. Tsk! Tsk!
Oooh – and this is one of our new bedside cupboards (potty cupboards as my grandmother called them, but no potties I promise!). Yellow of course. The cupboards we chose only came in black, so I’ve had to repaint them. I hope the finished look of this new bedroom has a beautiful, peaceful light and warmth to it – and not just lots of yellow! I’ll show you when it’s done.

Lovely bobbles, naughty Toph.
Love the color of the tables–that had to have been a lot of work, covering the black. Hopefully Toph won’t get to wear the scarf often…toy and neckwarmer all in one. Ours was amusing herself recently by viciously attacking a paper cup.
I love love love a yellow bedroom – lovely buttery yellow, not insipid lemon.
When I was in my late teens, and had my own money, I repainted my apple green bed yellow, and the walls in the same shade (walls were satin/matte, and the bed was gloss). Amelia now sleeps on that yellow bed, which appears to be a similar shade to your bedside tables.
Rory has the same style bed, and his is still painted the gloss red it was when my twin brother had it. I wish I knew what colour they were when my uncles had them – probably natural wood.
It is hard not to be happy with yellow around.
