cooking for christmas
We shopped and shopped and shopped … and then whilst Julian dived back into the last minute Christmas mayhem - for the items I forgot to add to the list - I cooked. For hours. I love cooking for Christmas :-)
the mood was chilled and cheerful …
the mince, fruity …
the rum balls, roly-poly …
the marshmallow, magically white and glossy …
and the fingers, very sticky.
Most satisfying :-)

Yum, yum, yummy! And you’ve just reminded me that we were going to make marshmallows today. And now we are not because we will be travelling. And I haven’t started to pack. Small problem, that… Things are looking very delicious there, Lily!
