  1. We’re going to the airport today! To pick up my best friend who was in Bristol for a conference. I sent along a shopping list *lol*.

I love airports and watching planes but hate flying. So we’re going 2+ hours early so we can plane watch and have lunch before we pick him up and have icecream and plane watch some more before we head home. :-D

    1. Oh that sounds so much fun! I love airports too but also HATE flying. I feel as if I’ve been shoved into an airless metal banana. It’s fun isn’t it, how the simple ordinary things can be such fun. Sometimes, just going to the supermarket and walking slowly around in the busy, cheerful, brightness, looking at all the food and thinking about things to cook and family and times I’ve eaten this and that, and chatting to the lovely checkout ladies can be just the right thing for that moment. Hope the unpacking is fun :-)

    1. It has been a lovely week – the last week of the Easter school holidays. I’ve still had classes at university but oh, not having to look after little girls and having Abby at home all day has been such luxury! Thanks for the kind words regarding the lamp – it was such fun to make. Wishing you a lovely spring week ahead :-)

  2. We went for a drive to the Colo River on Saturday . I sat in the shade of a tree and stitched some applique while the children disappeared to swim in the shallow sand bottomed water and play. They eventually floated back down on their boogie boards for more food. They started a cubby and then it was time to go home… as we drove off, on the back road to Bilpin, they saw other children had found it… a brief moment of outrage, “they” were taking advantage of all “our hard work” but then agreed that that was how it should be, a happy thing shared. I wish i knew how to send a picture! It was the most perfect autumn day. Have a great week, Rosemary
