spring stars
2008
… and knowing spring was just around the corner, these little nine-patch stars (who have been hibernating in the bottom of the scrap drawer) have crept out into the sun.
Oh they are tickling my fancy with all their pretty colours and prints …
not quite an eye-spy quilt …
but almost …
There’s so many fabrics to stop and smile over … and I’m in love with the staggered block setting. It’s my favourite.
Just the border to go – hopefully will get that on this week as I finally have more white and green polka dot!

I spy some very pretty little scraps!! Look at those cheery stars!
These stars are just beautiful Lily, such lovely spring colours. Sping has really arrived here in Melbourne (although the last couple of days have been very windy).
I love using scraps that remind you of other projects. I love the multicoloured polkadots, I think I have fat quarters of the same fabric on a green background.
The staggered blocks look great.
LOVE the stars! Oh my, I’m going to have to file this one away, because I must make one. It’s beautiful, fun, happy, bright, gorgeous, and more! ooxx`jodi
Such a cheerful quilt! It’s perfect for spring.
That’s a lovely quilt! It’s great to see so many spring colours in Australian blogs – in my part of the world it’s all gold, rust, red and brown at the moment, which should really inspire me to get those two Autumn UFOs out of hiding…
Lily the colors and fabrics are so cute. They speak to me. We could seriously be twins in our love of fabrics. This is just up my alley.
I Love this. It is so fresh. the colors are wonderful.
