staying close & cosy
2011
The last twelve days, we have stayed close and cosy. It’s been blissful. Full of family, laughter, tidying, packing, sorting, and lots and lots and lots of love. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect twelve days.
Tonight, we are all here – Mum, Abby, Cate, Hannah, Auntie Anne, and Lucy (the furry squished-up one). We’ve been out for curry, laughed ourselves silly (oh the story of Sister Gorman and the Lux Flakes!), eaten too much turkish delight and nougat and now we’ve filled Mum’s wee living room and are watching Up in the Air.
Tomorrow night, Hannah and I will be up in the air. Cate will already be home in Merimbula. Auntie Anne will be back at work. Mum and Abby will be curled up with Lucy. My holiday will be over.
But tonight, we’re all loving this one last opportunity (for this holiday!) to stay close and cosy.
