… that had the GOOD luck to be left on the side of the road,
where it was discovered by hard-rubbishing Lil’
& her equally ardent hard-rubbishing Mum.

Yes, it had shiny purple fabric …

Yes, that fabric had clearly been shredded by a furry family member …

Yes, it had EXTRAORDINARILY awful fuzzy trim … (gonk memories, anyone?)

But!  It all came off, revealing an elegantly shaped,
beautifully coloured wooden frame …

made all the nicer by some Danish Oil

And then it met some fabric …

A carload of fabric, in fact :-)
but that’s tomorrow’s story!

    Can’t wait! I have been admiring PW chairs in mags for a few years, and I know the only way to get one is make my own fabric! Bwah!

    Can’t wait to see what you do with the chair, Lily. I’m sure it will look spectacular. It has such a nice shape.
