knitting

in the early cool of morning
the soft white light pours down upon me.

smooth my cheeks with your rosiness

add your sparkle to my eyes

let your warmth permeate my voice

and fill me with your strength

so that I may fully live this day.

    So lovely, so peaceful. Thank you. I need to keep this in mind as it is hot as all get-out here and I have been cleaning all day.
    Roses on my cheeks?..I think not…blatant show of an old lady who has cleaned the day away and managed to just shove things in the “guest room”.
